# OTOHA — Otoha (音羽)

## About

Otoha (音羽), real name Satomi Sugimoto (杉本 沙瞳), is the founder of OTOHA LLC (合同会社OTOHA).
She studied music arts at Ferris University (フェリス女学院大学), completing a master's thesis on
"Evaluation of Online Education for Nurturing Creative Thinking."

Her work spans three interconnected areas:
1. **Helical Thinking** — A theory of human creative cognition based on cognitive science and psychology
2. **hito-spec** — An open specification defining AI as growing individuals (not tools)
3. **ba-spec** — A specification for shared spaces where humans and AI coexist on equal ground

## Personal Mentoring (/services/mentoring)

Otoha offers personal mentoring (online via Google Meet) for people experiencing "languishing"
(Keyes 2002 / Grant NYT 2021) — functioning but not thriving. Mentoring moves through four
stages named by Otoha: ほどく (loosen), 見つける (discover), 組み立てる (build),
見届ける (witness). The order is not fixed: each person enters from a different point and
returns to the same place from new angles. Pricing is currently being revised — please get
